Mimecast integration
Manage Mimecast held mail, sender policies, users, and groups directly from service requests.
What it connects
- Retrieve held messages when someone reports missing email.
- Pull message tracking details to see how a message was handled.
- Retrieve users, groups, and aliases before a change.
- Pull audit events and logs for security reviews.
What it automates
- Release or reject held messages after the request is reviewed.
- Permit or block senders to stop spam or allow a trusted sender.
- Add or remove group members as people join or leave teams.
- Update or remove email aliases for users when a request asks for it.
In practice
- An employee says an expected invoice email never arrived. STLabs finds it in the held queue and, after approval, releases it to their inbox.
- A user reports repeated spam from one sender. STLabs blocks that sender in Mimecast and confirms the change on the ticket.
- A trusted partner's emails keep getting held. After security approval, STLabs permits the sender in Mimecast so future messages reach the inbox.
- A new hire joins the finance team. STLabs adds them to the finance group in Mimecast and confirms the change on the ticket.
