Cloudflare integration

Access Cloudflare zones, members, and audit logs to streamline DNS changes, access control, and security incident response.

What it connects

  • Zone inventory and DNS configuration across your Cloudflare account
  • Account members and their assigned roles for access governance
  • Audit logs for compliance tracking and forensic investigations
  • Zone pause status and active security mode settings

What it automates

  • Add or remove account members and update their roles during onboarding and offboarding
  • Create, update, or delete DNS records to execute infrastructure changes
  • Pause or unpause zones and enable Under Attack mode during security incidents
  • Block malicious IPs or remove access rules after threat investigation

In practice

When a new team member joins, automatically add them as a Cloudflare account member with the appropriate role and notify them of their access.
During a DNS migration ticket. Create or update A and CNAME records in Cloudflare, verify the changes propagate, and confirm with external DNS lookups.
When a DDoS attack is detected, enable Under Attack mode on affected zones. Open a P1 security incident, and monitor traffic patterns until the threat subsides.
For suspected malicious IP activity. Create an IP access rule to block the source, log the action in your incident ticket, and remove the rule once the investigation confirms the threat was mitigated.
